Positano

The jewel of the Amalfi Coast

Built like an amphitheatre into the slopes of the Amalfi Coast, Positano is one of the most recognisable landscapes in Italy: colourful houses, narrow steps leading down to the sea and a light that changes with every hour of the day.

It is a place for a slower pace. For mornings with espresso on the terrace, strolls through small boutiques, a boat trip along the coast and aperitivo as the sun goes down.

Spring and autumn are perhaps the ideal seasons to visit: the weather is still warm and the town is quieter.
